I've attempted to blog many times previous to this but instead of keeping up with my entire family in a blog, I thought I'd do one just for me. Maybe it'll be easier for me to keep up with, and I might throw in my family every now and then. LOL.
My life is great! I'm 23 years old. I have a sister who is 18 about to graduate from highschool. I have a wonderful mom and dad who raised me to be who I am today. I was adopted from the Philippines back in February of '88. At that time, my parents and I lived in Boulder, CO. Gorgeous city to live in...at least it was from what I can remember. My dad was relocated in '91 to a small podung town called Ft. Morgan, CO. It was closer to the Northeastern tip of Colorado. Definately NOT Boulder. In '93 my sister finally came. My parents adopted her, too, from the Philippines. She was roughly 2 1/2 when she came over.
After her arrival, life was great. Or so I thought. Who would've ever thought that once a sibling enters the picture, you would have to share your baby dolls and barbies!?!?! Ugh...she ruined SO many of my barbies by drawing on them, putting nail polish on their lips (remember, the brush of a nail polish is almost the size of the barbie head so needless to say most of my barbies had red faces), cutting their hair! But, to say the least, we survived. Can't say the same for my dolls but my sister and I have never been closer.
In 2005 I had a full year. I graduated from High School, had my son, and got married. All in that order. I did make some bad decisions when I was younger; however, they have turned into blessings.
I love my life and the people in it. I wouldn't change it for the world.
I believe you to be a very bright, articulate, interesting young woman and I hope you will keep this blog going. geebee
